Update March 20th, 2020. Source One Satellite will temporarily close due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation. We will reopen once it is safe to do so. We apologize to our customers for any inconvenience this may cause.
Because of the developing COVID-19 situation, we are working to ensure the health and safety of our customers and ourselves. Therefore effective immediately, we will follow suggested safety guidelines. Anyone that feels unwell will stay home for the recommended 14 day self isolation period. We will also call customers to determine whether or not anyone is sick in the household, is self-isolating, or has traveled internationally in the last two weeks. This is to safeguard both our technicians and our customers. Furthermore, technicians will be asked to take additional precautionary measures such as: avoid hand shaking with customers, to wear masks, use hand sanitizer and wash hands before going to the next customer. We will closely monitor the situation and will adjust our health and safety plan as required.
Our technicians are currently doing well and are ready to install your Xplornet service and perform service calls. However, we are asking customers to please disclose when calling in, whether or not anyone in the household is experiencing flu like symptoms, feeling ill, is in self-isolation or has traveled abroad in the last two weeks. These precautionary measures will help to protect everyone.
